You'll own nothing and be happy.
Most of what youre paying for can be taken from you at any moment in time, now even. Even if the product is free, you're paying for it by giving all your information and data freely to a giant corporation that's going to use it to train A.I, sell it to other companies, or just go through it all! Most of the time it's all 3. You're the product. Imagine walking around handing everyone a copy of your entire photo library, your whole search history, every little bit of private information like your passwords and far more to everyone! That's the start, if you've ever paid for a subscription to anything that gives you acces to tv and movies, you may have heard about them removing shows and movies at any time. Thats not exactly great. Another issue is having to buy miltiple subscriptions so you can watch what you want, most of the time only 1 show a provider has.

What exctly is this?
These are all services that I self host. It means that everything here, even this website, runs on my own hardware and on everything that I own. I had originally set this up for myself and close family but I went overboard and bought way too much hardware amonst other supporting items and it spiraled out of control. I figured I would make it accessible to all my friends as well since I'd be able to handle the extra traffic just fine. Everything here is free and heavily secured. I use all of this myself and security was a big must for me. It's all encrypted and even region blocked so there's a small chance of anyone ever getting access to anything. If youre outside of the U.S you won't even have access. This is an internet facing site so theres a chance that you may have stumbled upon this site which is pretty cool considering im not marketing it at all or even pushing it out for everyone. If so, be cool and dont abuse anything, I will find out and kick you. Have fun!
