All your photos and videos in one place. I used to pay for iCloud storage and Google plus, then I found out that it was used to do some A.I training and it rubbed me the wrong way. This was the original use for the whole server setup and why everything was setup along with some other small things. Immich is open source, meaning that the project is very active and it's constanly getting updates and new features! It has apps that work with IOS and Android as well so its really easy to keep everything backed up and safe. You can log in from a web browser as well when you need to so it's always accessible. It does more than just store pictures, it can create albums you can share with others, sort people by their faces and other items, you can use it in wbesites to automaticall load images(which I do with some websites Iv'e built for friends), and a whole lot more that is far too much for me to add. You have unlimited storage space because I highly doubt anyone will manage to fill a couple hundred terrabytes worth of space by themselves. Hell, have around 200k files and total and even that doesn't make a dent! You can create an account at the botom or even sign in using your Google account if you'd like.
Features
All the features you'd expect from an image storage app! Face detection, character recognition, albums, memories, location data, sharing to and from your library, smart seach that lets you find images based on whats in them, there's a tooooonnnnn of stuff in here and its a long list that i dont plan on diving in too far into. Some people I've mmade websites even use it to pull pictures from and use it on their website and update it automatically which is pretty neat if you dont want to bee updating stuff manually all the time. There's an app for it as well on Apple products and Androids so it's really easy to get it seetup and working. Again, a lot to dive into and the list is only growing because its an open source project so it's constantly getting features added!
